Here's what the numbers mean and how to get the most accurate measurement.
Download Speed
Measures how quickly data is transferred from the internet to your device. This affects video streaming, file downloads, and web browsing.
Upload Speed
Measures how quickly data is sent from your device to the internet. This is important for video calls, sending emails, and uploading files.
Ping / Latency
Measures response time in milliseconds. Lower values are better. A ping below 50ms is ideal for gaming and video calls.
Tips for an Accurate Speed Test
- Close all other browser tabs and applications before running the test.
- Connect your device directly to the router using an ethernet cable for the most accurate results.
- Run the test at least two or three times and compare the results.
- Wi-Fi speeds are typically lower than wired speeds due to signal interference and distance from the router.
- If your speed is consistently below your package speed, submit a complaint and our team will investigate.
